Clive Davies is the Vice President at the Environmental Working Group (EWG), where they lead a team of scientists focused on advancing rigorous standards for personal care and cleaning products through the EWG Verified® and EWG Reviewed for Science™ programs. With a commitment to ingredient safety and transparency, they support EWG’s public health mission and enhance consumer access to safer product choices. Prior to joining EWG, Davies directed the Environmental Protection Agency’s Safer Choice program and served as Chief of the Design for the Environment division, implementing initiatives to promote safer chemicals. Davies earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
