Domenico Ferrara

Cybersecurity Officer (eu Policies)

Domenico Ferrara is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as a Cybersecurity Officer at the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) since July 2021. Previously, from June 2016 to July 2021, Ferrara worked as a Policy/Project Officer at the European Commission, focusing on cybersecurity technologies and capacity building in areas such as the Cybersecurity Act and 5G security. Prior consulting roles at Fipra and Burson-Marsteller involved EU policy-making and project management in digital policies and government relations. Ferrara also contributed as a Robert Schuman Scholar at the European Parliament and served as a Teaching Assistant at Warwick Business School. Ferrara holds a PhD in Security Studies from the University of Warwick and a Master's degree from The London School of Economics, along with a Bachelor's degree from the Università di Bologna.
