Kiya Pupa is a GIS Specialist at ENGIE North America Inc., having progressed from GIS Intern to GIS Specialist I since joining in June 2023. Prior experience includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant with the UCSB Wildfire Resilience Initiative and the UCSB Clean Energy Transformation Lab. Kiya also worked as an Administrative Assistant at the National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis and held conservation and finance roles at Gaviota Coast Conservancy and Sunrise Movement, respectively. Kiya served as an Undergraduate Representative on the Board of Directors for UCSB Coastal Fund. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Geographic Information Systems from UC Santa Barbara, along with a degree in Geographic Information Systems from Lund University.
