Axel Kuehn is the Managing Partner and CEO of ENGEL & VÖLKERS Zürich, a role held since 2012. Kuehn has a background in banking and private equity, having worked at Deutsche Bank Group (1981–1985) and Dresdner Bank AG (1985–1999) in lending, private equity, venture capital, and related areas. Kuehn also led private equity initiatives at Dresdner Kleinwort Capital (1999–2003) as Head Private Equity Fund Investment and Business Development, and held private equity roles at Allianz Private Equity (2003–2005) and AIG Investments – Private Equity (2005–2010), followed by PineBridge Investments (2010–2012) in business development across multiple asset classes.
