Jonathan Segal is currently the Group Treasurer and Head of Capital Markets at Energy Development Oman. A CFA Charterholder, they possess extensive expertise in corporate finance and capital markets across both developed and emerging markets. Their past roles include significant positions at Deutsche Morgan Grenfell, KfW Development Bank, and Barclays Capital, where they specialized in debt capital markets and led initiatives focused on Africa and Latin America. Additionally, Jonathan served as Chairman of the Investment Committee for the African Local Currency Bond Fund from 2015 to 2023 and currently chairs the Board of Trustees for The Parent House charity. They are fluent in Spanish, German, and French.
