Kaloian Penev is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in software engineering and technical leadership. Currently serving as an Embedded Software Engineer at EnduroSat, Kaloian also holds the position of Lead Software Architect at Roche and combines roles as Founder & CEO of SOLAR SINGULAR and Technical Team Lead for Embedded Software and IoT at ScaleFocus. Prior experience includes a Senior Software Engineer contract at Winterthur Instruments and roles as Digital Design Engineer at IDT - Integrated Device Technology, Inc. and PLDA, focusing on FPGA-based IP design and integration. Kaloian began a career at GPS Bulgaria AD as a GPS & Embedded System Engineer and has held other positions, including Technical & Office Assistant at ITALTEX Ltd. and Communication Systems Engineer at ECoCoMs. Kaloian's educational background includes degrees in Computer Engineering and Management Information Systems from Technical University Sofia and Sofia University, respectively, along with a specialist degree in Electronic Computation Machines from Technological School “Electronic Systems” - ELSYS.
