Andrea MacDonald, CPHR, is a dedicated HR Director and DEI practitioner who specializes in creating inclusive workplace environments. Currently serving as the HR Manager at Rugby Canada and the Senior Director of People and Culture at EmpowHERto, Andrea collaborates with organizations to build DEI strategies and training programs. With experience as a Human Resources Consultant and a background in roles such as Surgical Assistant and Treatment Coordinator, Andrea has demonstrated expertise in engaging stakeholders and promoting cultural competencies. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Human Resources and Labour Relations and has earned numerous certifications, including in Gender-based Analysis+ and Psychological Health and Safety. Outside of work, Andrea is a passionate sports enthusiast, with achievements as a multiple Ironman finisher and triathlon coach.
