Kent Pendergrass has extensive experience in business transformation and financial services, currently serving as Manager - Business Transformation at Embark since November 2022, specializing in Workiva implementation and governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) as a subject-matter expert. Prior to this role, Kent was a Senior Associate at Embark and KPMG, focusing on GRC and financial advisory services. Kent began professional career as an Audit Intern at KPMG and has also held positions as a Resident Assistant at the University of South Florida and a Guest Service Attendant at Target. Kent holds a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, both from the University of South Florida.
