Cortney Lawrence is currently the Sr. Advisor of Global Regulatory Affairs CMC Biotechnology at Eli Lilly and Company, where they focus on regulatory strategy within the pharmaceuticals industry. With a strong background in CMC Regulatory Strategy, Biologics, and Drug Development, Cortney previously held roles at Eli Lilly from 2016 to 2018, contributing significantly to regulatory submissions and process optimization. Cortney earned a BS in Biochemistry from St. Bonaventure University and completed a PhD at Virginia Commonwealth University, where they discovered novel mechanisms in cancer therapy. Additionally, they served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, researching critical signaling pathways in cancer.
