Carolyn Dzierba is an accomplished professional in the field of medicinal chemistry, currently serving as Associate Vice President of Medicinal Chemistry at Eli Lilly and Company since September 2025, while also contributing as a member of the Scientific Advisory Board at the Midwest Antiviral Drug Discovery (AViDD) Center since July 2023. Prior to these roles, Carolyn held various leadership positions at Bristol Myers Squibb from October 2001 to September 2025, including Executive Director and Head of Immunology, Cardiovascular, and Neuroscience Chemistry. Carolyn's earlier experience includes a position as Senior Research Investigator at DuPont Pharmaceuticals from August 1999 to October 2001. Educational qualifications encompass a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Chemistry from Boston College, a PhD in Chemistry from UC Irvine, and a B.S. in Chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington.
