Adam Perlman is the Senior Vice President and Deputy General Patent Counsel focused on IP Litigation and Strategy at Eli Lilly, a position they have held since 2025. Before this, Adam was a partner at Latham & Watkins and at Williams & Connolly LLP, where they established a reputation as a nationally recognized first-chair patent trial lawyer. Adam earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Tufts University. Earlier in their career, they served as a law clerk for Judge Marvin J. Garbis from 1997 to 1998.
