Seana Lymer, Ph.D., currently serves as a Scientist in Genomics Applications at Element Biosciences, starting in May 2024. Previously, Seana worked as a Senior Scientist at Proteintech Genomics from April 2022 to May 2024, where the development of MultiPro, the first commercially available cocktail for intracellular antibody staining for use with single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq), was achieved. Other roles include Scientist II in Assay Development and Integration at Spatial Genomics, where efforts focused on the commercialization of seqFISH+ and methods for reducing tissue autofluorescence, and as a Scientist at Predictive Biology / Three Dimension Genomics, leading projects in single-cell RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics. Seana's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Neurobiology from New York University, where research centered on structural and molecular neuroplasticity in Drosophila, and a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from the University of Southern California.
