Andy Jaffal MD, MMM, CPE, FHM, FACP, currently serves as Chief Medical Officer at Apex Health since December 2024, bringing extensive leadership experience from previous roles, including Chief Medical Officer at Piedmont Healthcare from March 2016 to January 2025. At Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, Jaffal spearheaded quality and safety programs and was instrumental in managing the COVID-19 response. Prior positions include Chief Hospitalist and Medical Director at Sacred Heart Hospital and various roles at Gwinnett Medical Center and The Longstreet Clinic, where Jaffal made significant contributions to revenue growth, increased patient volume, and departmental certifications. Jaffal holds a Doctor of Medicine from Jordan University School of Medicine, a Master in Medical Management from Carnegie Mellon University, and certifications in organizational leadership.
