Eugene van der Meulen currently serves as Senior Director of Operations, Infrastructure and Platforms at Electronic Arts (EA) since October 2023. Previously, Eugene held various leadership roles at ACI Worldwide from 2012 to 2022, including Vice President, Head of Global Transformation, where successful initiatives included a $40M divestiture and a $35M annual expense reduction through restructuring. As Global Strategy Director, Eugene developed the company’s first five-year corporate strategy. Earlier experience includes Software Engineering Director, where Eugene stabilized an underperforming team and Global Customer Support Director, managing support for major global payment systems. Eugene began the career at S1 Corporation as International Support & Implementation Manager. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Strategy and Operations Management and a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town.
