Mussie Abebe is an experienced engineer currently serving as a SCADA Application Engineer II at Electric Power Systems since July 2021. Prior experience includes a role at Medtronic, where Mussie contributed to the design of a surgical ultrasonic test development system as part of a Capstone project, and an internship at Zayo Group focused on fiber engineering and inventory integrity. Mussie began a research role as a student researcher with the Colorado Space Grant Consortium. Mussie Abebe holds a Master of Science in Industrial Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical, Electronics, and Power Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, complemented by a minor in Economics and a certificate in Engineering Project Management. Mussie's education also includes an International Baccalaureate diploma from the International School of Kenya.
