Jason Garrett is a Lieutenant at the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado and a retired Senior Master Sergeant from the Colorado Air National Guard, having served in the Security Forces career field. Since 2003, Garrett has worked as a sworn peace officer, undertaking numerous roles within the Sheriff's Office, including Patrol Deputy, Sergeant of the Crisis Negotiations Unit, and Training Manager. Their experience also includes deployments to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, as well as various specialized missions. Garrett holds an Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from the Community College of the Air Force and is actively involved in delivering law enforcement training for nearly 1,000 staff members at their agency.
