El Buen Samaritano is an outreach ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Texas committed to helping Latino and other families in Central Texas lead healthy, productive and secure lives through high-quality and affordable health-care, education and food assistance services.

We provide a gathering place where people of all cultural and socio-economic backgrounds learn and serve together in a community of mutual trust and respect. The community is vibrant and filled with a rich cultural tradition.

We encourage the growth and empowerment of those we serve, so they may fully participate in their own development and increase their capacity to be leaders and contributors to their families and the community.

The Community and Client Services team at El Buen Samaritano is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to Latino and other families in Central Texas. This includes offering affordable healthcare services through the Family Nurse Practitioner, facilitating education via the Volunteer English Language Teacher, and guiding clients on health-related resources with the help of the Community Health Navigator. The Client Outreach Coordinator ensures community members are informed about available services, while the Bilingual Customer Service Representative provides essential support in both English and Spanish, fostering an inclusive environment. Together, they empower individuals to nurture their development and actively contribute to the community.

The Leadership Team at El Buen Samaritano, comprising the CEO, Chief Executive Officer, and Pastor Principal, is responsible for setting the strategic vision, ensuring the alignment of programs with the organization's mission, and fostering partnerships within the community. They lead initiatives to enhance service delivery in healthcare, education, and food assistance, and work to engage and empower families, promoting a culture of mutual respect and trust. Through their leadership, they guide the team to build a vibrant, inclusive, and resilient community.

Comprised of roles such as Food Pantry Coordinator, Program Coordinator, and Lead Youth Development Coordinator, the team manages day-to-day operations, oversees program development and implementation, and supports the community through targeted initiatives to foster growth, empowerment, and leadership.
