Joseph Salemi is currently the Manager of R&D Engineering at Edwards Lifesciences. They previously held positions at Applied Medical as a Process Engineer II and at Zimmer Biomet as a Development Engineer Co-op. Joseph also gained valuable experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Michigan Orthopaedic Research Laboratories. They earned a Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering (Medical Product Development) and a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering (Biomechanics), graduating summa cum laude from the University of Michigan. Additionally, they began their academic journey as Salutatorian at Juan Diego Catholic High School.
