Hennadiy Kovalenko is a retired Colonel from the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. Between 1991 and 2025, Hennadiy served as an Officer and held various leadership roles, including Colonel and Head of the Directorate for Cooperation With Security Organizations at the Ukrainian General Staff from 2018 to 2019. After a short tenure as Acting Director of the International Defence Cooperation Department from 2023 to 2024, Hennadiy became the Director of the International Defence Cooperation Department in 2024. Currently, Hennadiy serves as the Director at Edge Autonomy since 2025. Hennadiy has also enhanced their expertise with a Master's Degree in Administration in the Defence Sphere from the Defence Academy of Ukraine and completed advanced military courses at institutions such as The Baltic Defence College and The Royal College of Defence Studies.
