Richard Owens is a Senior Director of Partnership Operations and Impact at the Economic Mobility Center since 2025. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Managing Director at Teach For America - San Jose from 2013 to 2016, where they built a community of over six hundred corps members and alumni while enhancing diversity and supporting teacher development. They also held positions as Managing Director of Program and Director of Postsecondary Pathways at the Tarrant To & Through Partnership from 2020 to 2022, and worked as a teacher with Duval County Public Schools from 2008 to 2010. Owens earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from The University of Georgia in 2008.
