Cihan Sahin is a seasoned Technical Lead for Product Development at the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts. They have served as an Analyst at ECMWF from 2000 to 2023 and held the role of Graduate Trainee at EUMETSAT from 1999 to 2000. Cihan completed an MSc in Computer Science at the University of Reading from 2003 to 2005 and pursued a PhD in Grid Computing for Scientific Applications there but did not complete the program. They also hold a BSc in Nuclear Physics/Engineering from Hacettepe Ãœniversitesi and a high school diploma in Science, Meteorology, and Maths from Anatolian Meteorological School.
