Jo McEntyre is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in bioinformatics, currently serving as the Deputy Director at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) since May 2009. Over the years, Jo has held the roles of Associate Director and Team Leader for Literature Services at EMBL-EBI, contributing significantly to the field. Prior to this, Jo worked as a Staff Scientist at the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) from August 1997 to May 2009.
