Abhijit Talpade is a Senior Chemical Engineer in the Process Innovation and Scale-up Division at Eastman, where they leverage their extensive background in catalysis and reaction engineering to support projects focused on process improvement, sustainability, and the circular economy. They earned a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University, where they conducted research on pyrolysis-based processing of biomass and shale gas resources. Prior to their doctoral studies, Abhijit completed a Master’s in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology in Mumbai, graduating as the university topper, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Dwarkadas J Sanghvi College of Engineering.
