Energetická skupina E.ON Czech je od roku 2004 součástí koncernu E.ON. O tři roky později byla do skupiny zařazena také plynárenská společnost, a tak se stala skupina předním integrovaným energetickým podnikem v České republice. Skupina pracuje na posílení portfolia zdrojů s cílem zvýšení aktuální vlastní výroby se zaměřením na obnovitelné zdroje energie. Patří k největším zahraničním investorům v oblasti energetiky, co se týče zásobování elektřinou, a dobře etablovaná je i na českém trhu s plynem. Zásobuje elektřinou v jižních Čechách a na jižní Moravě 1,2 milionu zákazníků a její tržní podíl činí téměř 20 %. V zásobování plynem činí podíl na trhu v České republice přibližně 8 %.

Struktura energetické skupiny E.ON Czech odpovídá vývoji evropské a české legislativy a díky tomu splňuje požadavky na oddělení veškerých regulovaných činností mezi provozem distribuční sítě od liberalizovaného obchodu a prodeje elektřiny a výroby. Ročně investuje více jak 3 mld. Kč do obnovy a rozvoje distribuční sítě. 

Trvalý rozvoj, efektivita a rozumné disponování přírodními surovinami - to jsou tři zásady, kterými se skupina řídí. Proto nabízí řešení právě v těchto oblastech. Sem patří například projekty zaměřené na vývoj nových technologických postupů, jakými jsou inteligentní systémy Smart Metering, elektromobilita, podpora vozidel na stlačený zemní plyn (CNG) a s tím spojený rozvoj infrastruktury pro dobíjení elektromobilů a plnicích zařízení na CNG. A v neposlední řadě iniciativa a organizace soutěže E.ON Energy Globe Award ČR.

Additionally, they support renewable energy initiatives and infrastructure development for electric vehicle charging and CNG refueling.

The Project Management Team at E.ON CZ is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing a variety of projects aimed at advancing the company's energy initiatives. This includes projects focused on smart metering, electromobility, CNG vehicle support, and infrastructure development. The team ensures that these projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the company's strategic goals, particularly in the area of renewable energy and technological advancements.
