Torrance Sanford currently serves as a Substation Engineer I and previously held the position of Substation Controls Engineer I at Duquesne Light Company since June 2023. Torrance gained valuable experience as a Substation/Distribution Engineering Intern at the same company, contributing to the LTIIP program and designing a 23kV circuit breaker replacement at Pine Creek Substation during the summer of 2022. Prior to this, Torrance worked as a Public Health Ambassador at Penn State University, overseeing COVID-19 safety protocol compliance among students from August 2021 to March 2022.
