Dimitra (Mimie) Liotsiou, PhD, is currently the Lead Data Scientist at dunnhumby, where they focus on developing causal measurement approaches for digital personalized rewards programs and leading the company's causal inference capabilities. They earned a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Southampton, where they also completed an MSc in Operations Research with Distinction. Prior to their role at dunnhumby, they served as a Research Associate and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Oxford Internet Institute, and have experience as a Technology Summer Intern at Morgan Stanley. Dimitra consistently engages with both internal and external audiences through talks and workshops on causal inference in retail.
