James McRacken is a Lead Environmental Scientist at Duke Energy, specializing in the Protected Species Program. With extensive experience in streams, wetlands, and wildlife studies, they have conducted comprehensive wildlife surveys and NEPA-related assessments for various federal branches. James has previously held positions as a Senior Terrestrial Scientist at Devine Tarbell & Associates and HDR, a Senior Biologist at Energy Renewal Partners, and a Director of Ecological Sciences at QORE Property Sciences. They completed a degree at Appalachian State University from 1984 to 1989.
