Dr. Parashuram Kallem is currently the Acting Lead of the Water Department at the DEWA R&D Center and serves as an Associate Principal Researcher, focusing on desalination and sustainability. They have a robust background in research and higher education, having held positions such as Assistant Professor at Abu Dhabi University and Postdoctoral Research Associate at multiple institutions, including Khalifa University and Texas A&M University at Qatar. Dr. Kallem earned a PhD in polymeric membranes for fuel cell applications from the University of Montpellier, building on a Master of Science in Chemistry from Banaras Hindu University and a Bachelor of Science from Osmania University.
