Florent Gacon's work experience begins in 2002 as an Event Organizer at Stedmans Hospitality. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as a Technical Coordinator at the Australian Olympic Committee and an Account Manager at Liberty International Tourism Group. In 2007, they joined Ernst & Young as an Executive in WCAP Management and Transaction Advisory Services until 2010. Florent then became an Assistant Director at EY from 2011 to 2013, followed by a role as a Senior Executive until 2018. In 2018, Florent Gacon joined DS Smith as a Global Working Capital Lead, and later in 2021, they became the Global Finance Director of Procurement.
Florent Gacon pursued a Bachelor (Honours) degree in Sports Management from the University of Technology Sydney, which they completed between 2002 and 2005.
