Bill Guthrie possesses extensive experience in the forestry and wood procurement industry, currently serving as General Manager at DS Smith since July 2016. Prior roles include Wood Procurement Manager at Weyerhaeuser from July 2000 to June 2016, and Timber Department Manager and Forester at T&S Hardwoods, Inc. from June 1990 to July 2000. Bill's career in forestry began at T&S Hardwoods, Inc. as a Log Scaler and Log Yard Supervisor from August 1984 to July 1986. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from The University of Georgia, obtained in 1990, and an Associate of Science in Forest Engineering from Lake City Community College, completed in 1984.
