David Hind is a Principal Engineer at Drive System Design, specializing in AC motor control and automotive software design. They have extensive experience in functional safety, simulation, and modeling of systems, as well as a strong background in power electronics and converter design. Prior to their current role, David served as a Principal Control Engineer at Dynex Semiconductor Ltd, focusing on electric vehicle research and development. They also worked as a Research Fellow at The University of Nottingham, concentrating on control design and project planning within the Power Electronics Machines and Control group. David earned their degree from The University of Nottingham, completing their studies in 2015.
