Jennifer Spindel is the genomics lead at Driscoll’s, where they currently focus on genomic research. Previously, they served as a global genomics lead in vegetable seed R&D at Bayer from 2023 to 2025 and as a senior data scientist at Bayer from 2018 to 2022. Jennifer has extensive post-doctoral experience in computational genomics, having worked on rice genomics at Cornell University and sorghum bioenergy at Berkeley Lab. They earned a PhD in plant genetics from Cornell University in 2015 and a Bachelor of Arts in biology with highest honors from Swarthmore College in 2010.
