J. Darius Greene is currently the Director of Recruitment and Alumni Engagement at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to this, they served as Dean of Student Services at Roanoke-Chowan Community College, overseeing various aspects of student services and initiatives. Their extensive experience includes a 14-year tenure at the University of Maryland, where they held several roles, including Associate Director of Student Affairs, focusing on recruitment, retention, and student support for a diverse population. Greene is originally from northeastern North Carolina and holds a bachelor's degree in Speech and a master's in Adult Education, both from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. They are a passionate advocate for higher education access for rural and underrepresented students.
