The Door County Y is a welcoming community of people dedicated to improving the health and quality of life for themselves, their families and their neighbors. Our membership and program opportunities are available to everyone in the community. Our impact is felt when an individual makes a healthy choice, when a mentor inspires a child, and when a community comes together for the common good. 

We are confident that our Y can strengthen the foundations of community through a commitment to both the value and practice of diversity. The Health and Wellness Team at Door County YMCA is dedicated to promoting overall well-being and fostering a vibrant, healthy community. This team, comprised of professionals like the Specialty Wellness Director, Strength and Conditioning Coach, Yoga Instructor, and others, designs and implements a variety of fitness and wellness programs. They support members in achieving their health goals through personalized training, group fitness classes, and specialized wellness services, ensuring everyone in the community has access to the resources needed for a healthier lifestyle.

Health and Wellness Team

The Recreational Programs Team at Door County YMCA orchestrates and oversees a variety of physical and leisure activities aimed at enhancing community health and well-being. Their responsibilities include managing gymnastics programs, coordinating lifeguard schedules, directing aquatic activities, and promoting these programs through marketing efforts. This team ensures that all members of the community have access to engaging and inclusive recreational opportunities.
