Amanda Calzada is an English Language Program Teacher at Chicago Public Schools and has served as a member of the Board of Directors at DonorsChoose since 2020. Previously, they taught grades Pre-K to 8th as an English Language Program Teacher from 2013 to 2022 and also worked as a Kindergarten Transitional Bilingual Classroom Teacher. Amanda holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Olivet Nazarene University and a Bachelor of Education in Elementary Education from DePaul University.
