Ryan Davidson is a Principal Engineer for Power Grid Cyber Security at DNV, where they also serve as Cyber Arena Manager. With extensive experience as an electrical engineer and cyber security advisor, Ryan has focused on the resiliency and security of the bulk electric grid, leveraging their background in both cyber security and systems engineering for large power generation facilities, transmission and distribution, and renewables. Previously, Ryan managed projects for the design, build, and commissioning of substations and data centers at SPIE Deutschland & Zentraleuropa and served as an Electrical Engineer at MPR Associates, Inc., specializing in critical power and industrial control systems. Ryan is a former Staff Sergeant and Prime Power Engineer in the US Army, where they trained soldiers and advised senior military officers on power contracts. They hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Communications and Signal Processing and a minor in Business from George Mason University.
