Mathias Steck is the Head of Section Information Security at DNV Energy Systems, leading efforts to enhance cybersecurity maturity and foster a resilient security culture within the organization. Since joining DNV in 2003, Mathias has held various senior leadership roles across Europe and the Asia Pacific, including Executive Vice President and Regional Manager for Energy & Renewables Advisory. Mathias also serves on the Executive Board of WindEnergieZirkel Hanse e.V., promoting the wind industry. Academically, Mathias holds a German Diploma in Civil Engineering and Environmental Technology and has completed executive education at several prestigious institutions.
