Anke Kaysser-Pyzalla has a distinguished career in academia and leadership within the scientific community. Currently serving as Vorstandsvorsitzende at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) since October 2020, Kaysser-Pyzalla previously held significant positions including Präsidentin at Technische Universität Braunschweig from May 2017 to September 2020 and CEO at Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin from October 2008 to April 2017. Additional roles include Direktorin at MPI für Eisenforschung, Universitätsprofessorin at Technische Universität Wien, Gruppenleiterin at Hahn-Meitner-Institut, and wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin at Ruhr University Bochum. Kaysser-Pyzalla obtained a Diplom-Ingenieurin from Technische Universität Darmstadt and a Vordiplom in Maschinenbau from Ruhr University Bochum.
