Michael Slack is a seasoned engineering professional with over 20 years of experience in structural design and project management. They began their career as an Engineer Intern at Carpenter Wright Engineers, PLLC, while studying at the University of Tennessee, later earning a BS in Civil Engineering and an MS in Civil/Structural Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. Michael worked as a Structural Engineer at LJB Inc. before joining RBI Solar Inc. in 2004, where they currently serve as a Senior Structural Engineer, specializing in solar PV installations and greenhouse structures. Recently, they have taken on the role of Vice President of Canopy Design and Engineering at DSD Renewables, where they oversee canopy project development and execution.
