Giulio Rognini is the New Business Lead at Zühlke Group, where they empower ideas and develop innovative business models. With over a decade of experience in MedTech and DeepTech, Giulio previously served as a Senior Scientist at the École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, managing PhD students and leading research in cognitive neuroscience and robotics. They co-founded Metaphysiks Engineering SA, where they spearheaded fundraising efforts and strategic partnerships, and are also a co-founder of Distalmotion, which focuses on pioneering surgical robotics. Giulio holds a PhD in Robotics and Neuroscience from EPFL and an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology.
