Dr. Jonathan Doerr is currently the Senior Vice President of Venture Building at Disrupt.com, where they lead innovative initiatives in the tech space. Previously, they were the Founder and CEO of Smileneo, a fast-growing health tech company in MENA, and co-founded Jumia Nigeria and Daraz, significant online marketplaces in Africa and South Asia, respectively. Dr. Doerr also served as Founder and CEO of WELLENMACHER and worked as a Project Manager at Otto Group, focusing on corporate strategy and development in e-commerce. They have been a Partner at Antler, empowering early-stage startups, and have contributed as a Member of the PEF Community. Dr. Doerr earned experience as a Scientific Assistant at Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München, reflecting a strong foundation in research and development.
