Courtney Bowman is the Associate Principal Counsel for Privacy at The Walt Disney Company, having joined the company in 2021. They previously served as Associate Counsel for Privacy at Hulu and as an Associate at Morrison & Foerster LLP, where they focused on privacy programs and data security issues. Courtney's prior experience includes working as an Associate at Proskauer Rose LLP, advising on privacy and commercial litigation matters. An accredited information privacy professional (CIPP), Courtney is recognized as a thought leader in international data security and has a dedicated pro bono practice, particularly in refugee assistance. They hold a JD from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from UCLA.
