Nick Baker is a seasoned mechanical design engineer with over two decades of experience in the engineering field. Currently serving as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Diamond Light Source since June 2010, Nick has held multiple mechanical design engineering roles within the company. Prior experience includes positions at DEK, De La Rue, and Pitney Bowes, among others, where responsibilities involved CAD design, problem solving, and the development of enhancement modules for production machines. Nick holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) Hons in Aerospace Engineering from Kingston University and a BTEC Higher National Diploma in Engineering from Bucks College of Higher Education.
