Die Deutsche Umwelthilfe ist ein gemeinnütziger Natur-, Umwelt- und Verbraucherschutzverband.  Wir sind politisch unabhängig, klageberechtigt und engagieren uns vor allem auf nationaler und europäischer Ebene.

Derzeit treten bei uns etwa 150 Mitarbeiter:innen für nachhaltige Lebensweisen und Wirtschaftsformen ein, die ökologische Belastungsgrenzen respektieren. Gleichzeitig kämpfen wir für den Erhalt der biologischen Vielfalt und den Schutz der Naturgüter sowie für den Klimaschutz. Unsere Überzeugung: Nur eine auf Effizienz und regenerativen Energien basierende Energieversorgung, eine nachhaltige Mobilität, der verantwortungsvolle Umgang mit unseren natürlichen Ressourcen sowie die Vermeidung von Abfällen können den Erhalt unseres Planeten sichern.
