Frank Appel is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Deutsche Telekom. Prior to this role, they served as the CEO of Deutsche Post DHL Group for 15 years, where they had been a member of the Board of Management since 2002. Frank began their career as a scientist and management consultant, working at McKinsey & Company from 1993 to 1999. They are also involved in various boards, including Fresenius Group and RWE, and are pursuing a PhD in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from ETH Zürich, along with a MSc in Chemistry from Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München. Frank enjoys traveling, mountain biking, and has a keen interest in neurobiology.
