James Butler, DVM has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. James started their career in 1987 as a DVM and Practice Owner at Sebastian County Equine Services. In 1989, they founded RYE HILL VETERINARY CLINIC where they served as a DVM and Practice Owner for nearly three decades.
In 2017, James took on a new role as a Justice of the Peace, District 4 at Sebastian County Government. After a year, they joined VitalPet as a Medical Director in November 2018, where they served until April 2020.
Currently, James is employed at Destination Pet, LLC as the Medical Director, a position they assumed in April 2020.
James Butler, DVM obtained a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University, where they studied Veterinary Medicine from 1980 to 1984. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences from the same university, from 1976 to 1980. Furthermore, James Butler holds additional certifications as a Veterinarian from the Arkansas Veterinary Medical Association and the Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association, which were obtained in August 1984.
