Ann M. Gallagher is a nonprofit executive and university educator with expertise in nature-based solutions and climate resilience. They served as a Biology Instructor at the University of Maryland at College Park and later held various leadership roles, including Research Professor at George Mason University and Superintendent at the U.S. Department of the Interior. Currently, Ann is a Commissioner with the Maryland State Government and leads initiatives at Start School Later, Inc., advocating for healthier school start times. They are also pursuing a PhD in Public Administration and Policy at Old Dominion University.
