Sam Chard PSM GAICD is the Head of Division for the Business Grants Hub and CRC Program at the Department of Industry, Science and Resources, where they deliver approximately $9 billion in federal grants to businesses. Previously, Sam served as National Manager for Strategic Policy and Stakeholder Engagement at the Australian Crime Commission from 2008 to 2013 and held multiple Assistant Secretary roles in the Attorney-General's Department from 2013 to 2018. Sam also acted as Interim CEO of the Australian Radioactive Waste Agency from 2018 to 2022 and led the COVID Testing Supplies Taskforce. Sam has completed various educational programs, including a Graduate Certificate in Market Research from the University of Canberra and the National Security Senior Executive Program at The Australian National University.
