Thembe McInnes is currently the Group Managing Lawyer at Dentons Helix, where they have also held the position of Managing Lawyer and Senior Lawyer. Previously, they served as Commercial Contracts Manager at Edinburgh Airport from 2019 to 2021 and as Legal Manager at Whyte & Mackay from 2015 to 2019. Thembe began their career as a Trainee Solicitor at Morton Fraser from 2007 to 2009. In addition to their professional roles, they have been a Tutor in Commercial Contracts for the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Glasgow since 2017. Thembe holds an LLB (Hons) in Law from Glasgow Caledonian University and a Diploma in Legal Practice from Strathclyde University.
