Mark Havekost began their career in 1993 as a Senior Civil Engineer at Woodward Clyde Consultants, where they focused on the design and construction of dams and tunnels. Mark conducted inspections, performed field exploration drilling programs, and conducted slope stability analyses. In 2000, they joined Delve Underground as a Principal Engineer, Regional Manager, and Vice President. In this role, they managed and delivered consulting services for a range of engineering projects, specifically for utilities and underground contractors in the Pacific Northwest region.
Mark Havekost earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Civil Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Mark then went on to complete a Master of Science (MS) in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley. In addition, Mark holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree from the same institution. Mark is also a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in California, Washington, Oregon, Alaska, and South Dakota.
